Our local Petco had an open house with free photo portraits and free caricatures. The line was four people long and it was taking 5-10 minutes for each caricature. Normally I hate waiting in lines for non-essentials, but I just had to have Ellie drawn. This is so perfect it's amazing. The artist captured Ellie's airhead essence to a faretheewell. I had it framed and it cracks me up every time I look at it. The photo portrait, on the other hand came out pretty lame.

One thing Ellie loves almost as much as herding is showing in the breed ring. Here she is winning Winners Bitch and Best Opposite Sex. ASCA has a separate Altered Conformation program so spayed and neutered Aussies can strut their stuff!

Ellie's favorite toy (until Vladi recently chewed through the rope) was a moo tug from Helping Udders. This one lasted for almost 3 years! The rubber udder liners are still in play.

Ellie's puppy kindergarten classes had a photo day. This was from part 2 of puppy-k, the manners class. And it seems that she did learn something!

This was Ellie's second show. She got the standing and stacking part, but had problems keeping herself from jumping and bouncing around the ring. Ellie's sister Darby and brother Dante were in the ring, too, so Ellie didn't stand a chance.
